Schlage to Offer Converged Credential Offering
Using Gemalto® Logical Security

CARMEL, IN - November 30, 2010 - Ingersoll Rand Security Technologies, a leading global provider of security and safety solutions and manufacturer of Schlage contactless smart credentials and readers, announced they will partner with Gemalto, the world leader in digital security, to provide advanced identification solutions to Schlage customers. The agreement allows Schlage to deliver a secure, converged badge that will let users take advantage of contactless access control technology and advanced, secure contact technology from Gemalto for logical security.

Both proximity and smart credentials are available with the Gemalto technology.
