new security and access control solution designed specifically to help integrators
win more projects, close the sale faster and increase profits. This new solution
features a preconfigured selection of commercial grade electronic security
products combined with electronic access control capabilities. These products
are all designed to work together, which makes installation easier and reduces
call-backs. Additionally, an online estimating tool walks the integrator through
the selling process, provides a listing of all products in the project and
provides a cost estimate onsite.

Schlage developed the pre-configured solution to address the needs of small and medium sized businesses. It reduces the cost and complexity normally found in mechanical locking products and provides security and risk mitigation for companies who have not previously had access to electronic security. The Schlage simple access control solution gives smaller businesses exactly the level of security they need and nothing they don't.
Schlage's
new integrated solution is comprised of four main system components. Schlage's
bright blue web-based controller manages a facility's points of entry
immediately from anywhere the system operator is attached to the Internet.
Schlage's AD-Series electronic locks and smart card credentials provide an
adaptable, modular, scalable system that lets businesses customize their system
for today and adapt it to their growth in the future. Video cameras and service
packages complete the full security offering.
The Schlage
Online Specification and Estimation Tool provides easy product identification
and proposal estimates. This tool walks an integrator through a project, identifying
the number and types of doors that need security and, automatically, estimates
labor costs based on the labor rate entered. The proposal provides a complete
cost estimate and can be saved, e-mailed or printed to give to the customer.
The tool also provides a complete list of products, with product numbers,
needed to complete the project. The integrator can simply give the list to
their distributor to get the products needed to install the job.
