Schlage and RF IDeas Form Technology Partnership


CARMEL, IN - March 31, 2010 - Ingersoll Rand Security Technologies, a leading global provider of security and safety solutions and manufacturer of Schlage contactless credentials and readers, and RF IDeas, Inc., a leading provider of desktop and other off-the-door proximity and contactless reader solutions, are partnering to offer customers proximity and secure contactless smart card offerings for both at the door and desktop.

The offering by Schlage and RF IDeas provides customers with options to use their contactless credentials for more than just access control. RF IDeas products provide customers with hundreds of applications using their proximity and smart card USB, RS-232, Ethernet desktop and embedded readers. When paired with Schlage's award winning line of multi-technology readers, customers now have access to complete contactless solutions.
