CARMEL, IND.
- March 11, 2010 - Ingersoll Rand Security Technologies today announced that
it has added video recording capabilities to its web-enabled, embedded bright
blue access management system designed for small commercial buildings, K-12
schools and other applications with 1-32 doors. Integrating video with their
bright blue access control system will let these users quickly search for
video by cardholder name, ID number and transaction type, among others.
"Now,
smaller users can enjoy the enhanced security and greater peace of mind that
large users have been receiving from their integrated access control/video
surveillance systems," emphasizes Jennifer Toscano, Ingersoll Rand Security
Technologies portfolio marketing manager, credentials, readers, software,
and controls. "The DVR (digital video recorder) integrates to both the
Schlage bright blue intelligent access management system as well as our Security
Management System software created for larger enterprises. Remote multi-users
video management software (VMS) is included with no licensing required."
The compact
SEVMS-SBB DVR is shipped network ready with four IP camera channels. It uses
a Windows XP embedded operating system and streams and records in MPEG4 or
MJPEG color video. Video can be viewed remotely from any workstation with
an authorized password-protected access level. The user-friendly software
provides administrators with easily accessible features common to larger systems
including on screen PTZ control, advanced search, playback and save capabilities,
video motion detection by camera, individual camera setting, email by event
and more.
The new DVR/VMS
is available now and will be showcased at ISC West in Las Vegas March 24-26
at Booth #20041.
