27, 2008 - Ingersoll Rand Security Technologies today announced that all LCN
actuators and accessories can now be purchased in packages that come complete
with pushbutton, ready-mount or touchless plates as well as surface or flush
mounting boxes, weather rings, wireless transmitters and 4-channel receivers.
No longer do installers have to purchase individual components, saving time
and eliminating confusion about what is needed for a quick, clean install.
"All accessories are
universal and can be used with any LCN automatic operator," emphasizes
Joseph Vaida, LCN product manager-electronic door controls. "From touchless
actuators to keyfob activation switches, we have actuators and accessories in
25 activation packages, covering all popular applications and aligning with
differing state code requirements. Thus, these pre-packaged kits are easy to
stock for our channel partners and straightforward for installers to buy."
The actuators and accessories
help installers provide uncompromising ADA-compliant door control. Push plates
are available as round, square or jamb push models. Both round and square ready-mount
actuators are set up to install right out of the box. The LCN touchless activation
device uses a common motion sensor to provide door activation in sterile environments,
such as hospital operating rooms, other healthcare applications, cleanrooms
and bathrooms. To activate, a person simply moves ones hand in front of it.
