New IR Security & Safety 620/630 Series Pushbuttons Feature User-, Installer-, Dealer-Friendly Innovations
30 to 55 Percent Lower Cost than Previous Pushbuttons
FORESTVILLE, CONN. – December 11, 2002 – IR Security & Safety’s Electronic Access Control Division (EACD) today introduced its new Locknetics 620/630 Series of feature-packed pushbutton releasing devices for doors using magnetic locks. The new pushbuttons cost between 30 and 55 percent less than previous models. An easily installed L2/LL option PC board offers backlit illumination for the pushbutton, along with red and green LEDs to monitor door open/locked status.
“In addition to added features and lower costs for users, these new pushbutton series provide multiple benefits to our installer and distributor customers,” explains IR Security & Safety Director of Software Managed Products Jeff Koziol. “Among their installer-friendly innovations, the 620/630 Series pushbuttons all include the same electronics package and feature screw terminal connections for the momentary action SPDT and DPDT models. Dealers and installers can service their customers carrying lower inventories since the pushbuttons are available in modular stocking configurations. They can mix and match many of the components. If desired, they can also order finished goods SKUs.”
The new 620 Series pushbuttons come in 1 ¼-inch button and 1 5/8- and 2 ¾-inch mushroom button styles while the 630 Series are available in a 1 ¼-inch aluminum button style. An optional “glow-in-the-dark” pushbutton color is available across the line, in addition to red, green or black. Other options include delayed action, double pole double throw, heavy duty plate and a choice of architectural finishes including bright brass, satin bronze, oil rubbed bronze, bright chrome, satin chrome, white powder coat and black powder coat. Both alternate action and narrow stile configurations are available at no extra cost and eliminate the need to track separate model numbers.
