January 25, 2010 - Infinova today announced that Adolph Salas has been hired
to develop sales and marketing activities for Infinova throughout Latin America
and the Caribbean. The new vice president, sales will be responsible for the
entire range of Infinova products, including IP, megapixel and analog surveillance
cameras and components, camera accessories, monitors, power supplies and fiber
optic communications devices as well as customized solutions. Salas will also
cover the entire region, providing services to existing Infinova distributors
and developing new distributors in markets where Infinova does not presently
have representation.
"Adolph looks forward
to showing architects, consultants, engineers and integrators throughout Latin
America and the Caribbean how Infinova helps them to easily make the leap from
analog to IP video surveillance," emphasizes Infinova President Jeffrey
Liu. "He will demonstrate how Infinova integrators are able to tailor solutions
by mixing and matching a variety of camera types, including both analog and
digital models, with resolution levels, day/night operation, wide dynamic range
(WDR) and color so they can say 'yes' to many more types of projects."
Salas has more than 20 years
of experience in the security industry, including his most recent position as
vice-president of business development for 360Vision technology, a UK video
manufacturer. Previously, Salas was director of sales, Latin America for Dedicated
Micros, Inc.; director of worldwide sales for ATV; and director of sales and
engineered systems for Ademco International, where he created and led the systems
sales group and had responsibilities for product management and marketing for
Latin America. He spearheaded the acquisitions of companies in Mexico and Brazil.
Salas also established sales offices throughout Latin America for Honeywell
(formerly, Ademco International), including ADI de Mexico and its Puerto Rico
branches. Salas started his security industry career with Richardson Electronics.
