Delta’s New Portable Hedge Hog Provides Temporary Security
VALENCIA, CALIF. – March 6, 2000 – To temporarily secure roadways and perimeters, Delta Scientific has introduced the new PBH-1 Portable Hedge Hog barricade. The unit can be easily towed and dropped into place by two people.
“Originally developed for U.S. Navy facilities, our PBH-1 unit fills the need for easy to ship, easy to deploy and easy to store temporary perimeter security,” explains Delta Scientific Senior Vice President David Dickinson. “Simple in design, it provides both a strong deterrent and barricade. The PBH-1 is 12 feet (3.65 meters) long and weighs 585 pounds (265 kg). It is shipped knocked down and is quickly and easily bolted together. The unit features removable pneumatic tires and tow bar. Barriers can be linked together with others to block off wider areas.
The new PBH-1 barricade is made of structural steel and epoxy primer painted. It is available now.
